Project Details

Secret Wars was Marvel’s major publishing event for 2015. However, Marvel also wanted to push for consumer products with Secret Wars. I needed to develop a logo that would work for licensing while feeling epic and working for a publishing event at the same time. I knew the story would be taking place on a planet called Battleworld, so using an eclipsing world from underneath seemed like a great framing device. 

The event in a nutshell: The end of the Marvel Universe has arrived. The final incursion is happening. The Marvel Universe collides with the Ultimate Universe, and neither will survive.
